Semi permanent makeup, also known as micro pigmentation, cosmetic tattoo, semi permanent tattooing and microblading is a form of temporary cosmetic tattooing which implants tiny amounts of pigment into the outer layers of the skin for long lasting eyebrow, eyes and lips. This pigment will stay in the skin for a number of years, gradually breaking down and fading - this is why a yearly top-up is necessary to keep your semi permanent eyebrows, lips and eyeliner looking fresh!

This procedure is beneficial for those who pencil in your brows everyday, get them tinted or have over plucked brows; If you lack colour and shape to your lips and want to enhance them without having dermal fillers; If you want to enhance the shape of your eyes, define them or fed up of smudged eyeliner; if you're allergic to certain makeup or brands or if you simply want to save some extra time in the mornings.

A consultation is the first step before you decide whether or not you decide to go ahead, to ensure you're suitable for the treatment and to discuss your expectations. A patch test is required minimum 24 hours before you have any form of semi permanent makeup. Becca will then carefully map out and draw the area of procedure bespoke to your face and shape and colour matching to your hair and skin tone. The treatment only goes ahead once you are completely happy with the look we've created together. The pigments are then placed in the dermal layers of the skin using a very fine needle attached to a hand held electrical device. This usually takes up to 2 hours and the healing process can differ depending on age and skin type, health and lifestyle - full healing 4-6 weeks
